The Storwize V7000 Unified system is a virtualized RAID system that supports file and block protocols. It consists primarily of the file module which is made up of two units that provide file systems for your NAS.
In turn, the Storwize V7000 provides this file module with volumes.
This 2073-700 is being phased out and replaced with the 2073-720.
The primary difference between the 700 and 720 is eight more 1 GbE ports in the newer 720.
Two unified file modules are required and each contains two 500GB (feature 3202) hard drives, redundant power and cooling, Dual port FC HBA, Dual Port 10 GbE Ethernet NIC with SFP+ Connectors (features 5700 and 5710) and rails for a 2U rack mount.
