What is it?

The WS-C3750G-24T-S is a Catalyst 3750 Series multilayer switch that comes with the IP Base software. This unit is our fastest selling switch.

Why is that?

Primarily because it offers Cisco StackWise technology. That means you can create a switching system one WS-C3750G-24T-S at a time. Need speed? It’s designed for high-density Gigabit Ethernet and compatible with everything below. (If you don’t need the stacking, the 3560 switch might be a good fit for you, as the hardware is pretty much the same.)

How much does it cost?

Is there a warranty?

Yes! Maximum Midrange offers warranties tailored to you. The minimum warranty is 90 days and goes up from there.

What’s the difference between this and the WS-C3750G-24T-E?

Software and pricing. They are identical in hardware.
The WS-C3750G-24T-S has the IP Base Image installed which offers basic RIP and static routing, upgradeable to full dynamic IP routing.
The WS-C3750G-24T-E is loaded with the IP Services Image installed, offering out of the box full dynamic IP routing.
So, this brings in a cost difference of about 50% (the WS-C3750G-24T-E being more). If you don’t need the IP Services Image it’s a good way to save some money. Not sure if you need it? Our Cisco experts can help with that decision.

Are these new or refurbished?

The WS-C3750G-24T-S reached its end of sale from Cisco on March 16, 2009 and was replaced by the WS-C3750G-24TS-E1U. While there are a few new ones out there, you are looking at primarily refurbished. All units we sell are fully cleaned, tested and ready to go.
