Follow-up: Cisco Completes Sourcefire Purchase
A follow-up on our blog from July 23, Cisco Gobbles Up Sourcefire for $2.7 Billion.
The purchase is complete and all Sourcefire shares should be off the NASDAQ as of yesterday. As expected, the final tally was close to $2.7 billion, which comes out to $76 per share.
We are looking forward to Cisco taking a step into open source with this purchase:
