What it is: HPE 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage
What it does: Adds storage to your computing environment
Why we like it:
– Compatible with most hardware
– Compatible with most software
– Easy setup and maintenance
– Easy scalability with the HP M6710 (2U24) and M6720 (4U24) drive enclosures
– Enterprise level Tier 1 storage at a Midrange price.
– Mix of SSD and HDD
Start small and scale out with the HP M6710 (2U24) and M6720 (4U24) drive enclosures.
Both the HP M6710 (2U24) and M6720 (4U24) drive enclosures hold up to 24 Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disk drives, and contain two 580 Watt power cooling modules (PCMs) and two I/O modules.
The main difference is that the M6710 holds 2.5 inch small form factor (SFF) drives and the M6720 holds 3.5 inch large form factor (LFF) SAS drives.
We have a couple charts below comparing the similarities and differences with the HPE 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage family.
